Studies Hobart Technical College with Carington Smith, Royal Art school, London 1952-54. Known largely for his portraits, notably 10 composers, commissioned by the Theatre Royal. Exhibited Whitechapel, London 1961 and numerous national awards including McCaughey Memorial Prize aGV, Perth Prize Drawing and Freemantle Drawing Prize. TMAG has held four exhibitions of his works 1978, 1985, 1986 and 2015.
